Products Database

A database driven products section allows you to show a large number of products which can be searched and filtered by the visitor. The products are shown on a listings page and are then shown individually in more detail on another page.

All products' details pages have the ability to show 4 images, with up to 5 fields for product type and specification etc. The system automatically numbers your pages, adds next and previous buttons as required and shows the total number of products in the database.

Add, edit and delete functions all accessible from the control panel.

Products/Shopping Cart

Adding a shopping cart to your products database allows you to sell products online, whethr you want to take credit card payments online or use traditional methods instead.

Features:

  • You can choose to feature any particular products on the Products Page simply by ticking the appropriate product in the control panel.

Customers can:

  • Shop by brand.
  • Link to other products of the same brand from the product details page.
  • Browse by category.
  • Search catalogue using multiple filters at the same time (category, keywords, brand, price, etc.)
  • Add products to a wish list.
  • Tell a friend about a product.
  • Register with the store so that they can quickly log into their account on future visits.
  • Request a lost password.
  • Enter special order instructions.
  • Receive e-mail updates when the order is received, processed, shipped, cancelled or returned.
  • Log into a customer service area where they can update their account information.
  • View previous orders, check the status of a current order, and track a shipped order.
  • View Wish List items and add them to the shopping cart.

Administration

  • Search for orders by date, product, customer, etc.
  • Easily update order status (pending, processed, shipped, cancelled, returned).
  • Sort orders by their status for efficient order management.
  • Quickly contact customers from within the control panel.
  • Automatically send e-mail messages when an order is placed, processed, shipped and cancelled.
  • Automatically update customer's order status page in the customer service area.
  • Easily process returns.
  • Automatically exclude returned and cancelled orders from sales reports and inventory data.
  • Sales reports.
  • Easily export sales data in CSV or Excel format.

E-commerce payments

Once you have a Products/Shopping Cart section up and running you may wish to take credit card payments online. We can implement a number of payment systems, to suite your needs, that work with most of the high street bank business accountsor independent systems such as Worldpay etc.

Email Marketing System

This is an very cost effective way of promoting your web site. The system we have developed adheres to all new legislation. It has automatic opt-out links with every email, plus reporting on the number of people who have actually opened the email and the number unsubscribed etc.
